Yo-Yo Ma - Portland, Maine

PCA announces its 2008/2009 season today.

It looks to be another fabulous season, with Opera, Dance, Broadway, Pianists, Violinists and famed cellist Yo-Yo Ma all coming to Merrill Auditorium.

While seats for Ma are available at numerous price points, $150 will buy you Orchestra seats and a post-performance reception with the man himself.

Ma won't be here until February. By then, perhaps the restaurant that is expected to occupy the Chestnut Street Church will be open to feed hungry concert goers at a location within a short walk to the venue. Until then, the best spot for a pre-concert meal within walking distance of Merrill Auditorium is still Bresca - if you can secure one of their 20 seats.
