Daniel Receives 4 Stars from New York Times

Daniel received Four Stars from New York Times yesterday, one of only
five restaurants with the honor. Sean McClure, formally of Evangeline and pictured in the Duck Press post, is currently bartending at the famed French restaurant. If you look closely enough, you can just recognize him in a blurry image halfway through the
Audio Slide Show.

My husband and I ate at Daniel about three years ago and were extremely impressed with the service. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in the Skate Wing entree that we both ordered that night; we were expecting a similar preparation to what we had at Bandol, in which Erik Desjarlais served the fish crispy and boneless.

Based on the NYT review, we'll need to try it again on our next visit to NYC.
